Do you dig dinosaurs? Get ready for a total dinosaur takeover! A Night at the Museum is back and we’re celebrating everyone’s favourite prehistoric superstars.
Roam museum-wide after dark. Your ticket includes entry to all temporary and permanent exhibitions as well as dinosaur themed activities, science shows and family-friendly night time fun.
This event has limited capacity. Bookings are essential. Our events are cashless, EFPTOS only.

This special dinosaur edition of A Night at the Museum is part of Queensland Dinosaur Week. From 4 to 10 May 2026, Queensland Dinosaur Week is a new, annual state-wide celebration of prehistoric discovery, science and storytelling, inviting visitors to explore Queensland's globally significant fossil heritage.
Anchored by National Dinosaur Day, the week brings together fossil-rich communities, museums, researchers, tourism operators and educators to showcase the state's extraordinary dinosaur, marine reptile and megafauna stories .
Through guided tours, hands-on fossil digs, exhibitions, family events and the launch of The GREAT Queensland Dinosaur Trail, the event positions Queensland as Australia's leading destination for palaeo tourism while driving visitation, education and pride across regional communities.
